| Sacred Heart Seminar to Highlight Irregular Heartbeat Symptoms and Treatment Options Feb. 24 |

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. – An estimated 2.2 million people suffer from atrial fibrillation, or irregular heartbeat. Dr. Angel Morrobel, cardiologist with Sacred Heart Medical Group, will present a free seminar on “Irregular Heartbeat: Symptoms and Treatment Options” on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. in the Resource Center Suite 3 conference room at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast.
Dr. Morrobel will provide an overview of atrial fibrillation, which often appears a rapid heart rate that can cause poor blood flow to the body and create symptoms of heart palpitations, shortness of breath and weakness. Many people experience atrial fibrillation on a regular basis while others experience brief episodes that come and go. A variety of treatment options are available.
Dr. Morrobel, who has practiced cardiology in the Emerald Coast since 1996, has a license to practice nuclear medicine and is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. His medical interests are heart failure, atrial fibrillation and pulmonary hypertension, among others.
This seminar is part of the monthly series of free health education programs sponsored by Sacred Heart’s “Senior Spirit” program. “Senior Spirit” is a free program for persons 55 and older.
