Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast strives to provide the latest medical technology and a patient-friendly environment.  Medical technology changes rapidly, and the hospital must constantly invest in new services and new technology. A 64-slice CT Scanner is the next piece of diagnostic equipment on our agenda, which provides faster exams, sharper images and less patient stress

The Emerald Coast campus has been designed to expand to 250 beds in the years ahead, which requires a major investment and partnership with the community.  That kind of growth requires a major investment in the future.  We are currently building the Women’s Center, with plans to deliver the first baby in the fall of 2007. The construction of the Women’s Center on the second floor will create an opportunity to expand Heart and Vascular Services on the first floor, to provide everything short of open-heart surgery in the near future.
