The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced their 2009 Excellence In Business and Leadership Award Winners. Those individuals were honored and acknowledged at the Chamber November Power of Business Luncheon that was held at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa on Wednesday, November 4th.

The Excellence in Leadership Award is a premier award that honors individuals who have demonstrated excellence in leadership and exemplify the goals and aspirations of the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Robert Kamm, with Sandcastle Resorts and Hotels has been named the 2009 Excellence in Leadership Award recipient. Robert is President and CEO of Sandcastle Resorts & Hotels. He is responsible for the daily operations of the company and the projects owned or managed by its affiliated companies.

The Excellence in Business Award is given based on “overall stellar performance in the areas of growth, expansion, service, innovation, capital investments, community involvement and responsiveness to challenge.”

Roger Hall, with Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast, has been named the 2009 Excellence in Business Award Winner. Roger is the President and CEO of Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast and has been involved in the health care industry for over 15 years. Roger is dedicated to the growth and expansion of high quality health care services throughout the region.
