PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – Sacred Heart Rehabilitation in Panama City Beach recently expanded its staff to include dedicated speech, physical and occupational therapists.

Stacy Thomas, occupational therapist, joined Sacred Heart with over 12 years of experience in treating patients from childhood to adulthood. She is local to the Panama City area. Renee Gardner, speech-language pathologist, recently relocated to the area from Mississippi and has her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders. She also treats patients from childhood to adulthood.

Thomas and Gardner joined Jennifer Hodges, clinic manager and physical therapist, and Mike Stephens, physical therapist assistant and athletic trainer, in providing comprehensive rehabilitative care. The Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center is a 2500 square foot outpatient facility dedicated to restoring patients to a high quality lifestyle. Complete with state-of-the-art equipment and three private treatment rooms, the center is now staffed by dedicated physical, occupational and speech therapists.

Education is a key part of rehabilitation. The Rehabilitation Center’s goal is to provide sound treatments and empower patients to improve and maintain their health. After completing the necessary rehabilitation, patients are encouraged to join a wellness program to continue improving their quality of life.

The rehabilitation center provides therapeutic programs for aphasia, arthritis, autism, balance disorders, developmental delays, osteoporosis, spinal issues, and swallowing disorders.
